This week our website went live with the initial research our team has done. We are quite happy with the result and are interested to see whether the overseeing staff think we are on the right track or not!

We have also started to look into the future challenges that will face the timber industry in 2070, and have chosen the following areas to investigate:

1) Diseases killing off trees - Isaac

2) Robots fully replacing workers - Ruan

3) Urbanisation of land - Mel

4) Allergies to trees

5) Renewable resources being depleted - Isaac

6) Timber becoming obsolete - Gene

7) Inhabitation off-Earth - Ruan

8) Infrastructure not improving

9) Overpopulation - Gene

10) Global financial recession - Mel

While brainstorming possible future challenges the industry could have, one team member thought of this cultural video.
